Mischel Sporthorses LLC. was established with a foundation of a few carefully selected and imported broodmares from Germany. Prioritizing quality over quantity, our focus lies on breeding horses with outstanding work ethic, healthy physique, and impeccable bloodlines making them ideal partners for both pleasure riding as well as for the big arena. Each and every animal receives genuine love and meticulous care, ensuring their healthy development from youngsters to mature equines.

With a great love for horses, a background in veterinary medicine, and connections to breeders and stallion stations in Germany, we not only offer outstanding German Warmbloods bred right here in the USA, but also provide assistance in finding your dream horse in Germany.

The Owner

Madeline Mischel

Dr. Madeline Mischel is an accomplished veterinarian, horse breeder, and importer of German sport horses, who possesses a deep love for animals. Originally from Berlin, Germany, she attended veterinary school at the Freie Universität Berlin. Following her graduation, she embarked on a journey to Texas to pursue her postdoctoral degree at Texas A&M University. Thereafter she went on to gaining valuable experience in Colorado, including working at the renounced Little Equine Medical Center, before returning back to Germany for a few years.

Driven by her lifelong dream and having enjoyed life in the USA, she eventually packed up all her furry friends for good and moved back to the U.S. Here she is determined to fulfill her lifelong dream of building a successful breeding operation for high-quality European sport horses, while sharing these remarkable animals with fellow horse lovers and ambitious riders throughout America.
